If you are driving to Baras Bird Sanctuary, start from General Santos City, the nearest major city. Head northwest on the Maharlika Highway (also known as the Pan-Philippine Highway). Continue for approximately 34 kilometers until you reach Tacurong City. Once in Tacurong City, follow the signs for the bird sanctuary. You can use the coordinates 6.627948, 124.637599 for navigation. The sanctuary is located at JJHQ+52H, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Baras Bird Sanctuary using public transportation, you can take a bus from General Santos City to Tacurong City. Buses to Tacurong are available at the General Santos City Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately PHP 50-70 and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at the Tacurong bus terminal, you can either hire a tricycle or a local jeepney to take you to JJHQ+52H, the location of Baras Bird Sanctuary, which is about 10-15 minutes away. Expect to pay around PHP 20-30 for the tricycle or jeepney fare.
