Car
If you are driving from Iloilo City, take the Iloilo-Capiz Road (also known as the Panay Highway). Head north for about 2.5 hours until you reach Carles. Once in Carles, follow the signs to Gigantes Norte. After entering the area, navigate to J86W+RWM, where Bakwitan Cave is located. Make sure to have a reliable GPS or map application, as some local roads may not be well-marked.
Bus
From Iloilo City, take a bus to Carles. Buses leave from the Iloilo City Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately 200-250 PHP and the journey takes around 3-4 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Carles, you can hire a tricycle or a local motorcycle taxi to take you to Bakwitan Cave. The tricycle fare should be around 100 PHP for a short trip to the cave location.

After arriving in Carles, if you have not taken a tricycle from the bus terminal, you can find one easily. Negotiate the fare before getting in. The ride to Bakwitan Cave should take about 20-30 minutes and costs around 100-150 PHP.
