Car
If you are driving from Bacolod City, take the south highway (Circumferential Road) towards San Carlos. Follow the signs to San Carlos until you reach the junction at the city center, where you will see a sign pointing to Calatrava. Turn left onto the road leading to Calatrava. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town proper of Calatrava. From there, ask locals for directions to Sitio Balea, as the road can be narrow and winding. Ensure your vehicle is suited for rough terrain, as the last stretch may require a 4x4, depending on the weather conditions.

Public Transportation
To reach Balea Falls via public transport, start at the Bacolod City North Bus Terminal. Board a bus heading to San Carlos City. The fare is approximately 150 PHP and the journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arriving at San Carlos, transfer to a jeepney or a tricycle heading to Calatrava for around 30 PHP. Once in Calatrava, you may need to hire a tricycle to take you to Sitio Balea, which will cost about 100-150 PHP. It’s advisable to coordinate with the driver for the return trip.
