Car
If you are driving from Bacolod City, head north on the Bacolod-Don Salvador Benedicto Road (also known as the Provincial Road). Continue until you reach the junction leading to the town of Cadiz City. From Cadiz City, follow the signs towards the coastal area. Once in Cadiz City, look for the port area where boats to Lakawon Island are located. There is ample parking near the port, but ensure to check if there are any parking fees.

Public Transportation
To reach Lakawon by public transportation, take a bus from Bacolod City to Cadiz City. Buses leave from the South Bus Terminal and the fare is approximately PHP 150. The journey takes about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Cadiz City Bus Terminal, you can take a tricycle or a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to the port area for around PHP 20-50. At the port, you will need to purchase a boat ticket to Lakawon Island, which typically costs around PHP 100-150 for a round trip. The boat ride is about 15-20 minutes.

For a more comfortable option, consider booking a private transfer service from Bacolod City directly to the port of Cadiz City. Many local travel agencies offer this service. The cost ranges from PHP 2,000 to PHP 3,500 depending on the type of vehicle and number of passengers. This option is convenient as it eliminates the need to navigate public transport, and you will be dropped off directly at the port for your boat ride to Lakawon.
