Car
From Cebu City, start your journey by driving south towards the town of Moalboal. This trip will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once in Moalboal, head to the Moalboal Port. Here, you can park your car in the designated parking area for a small fee, usually around 50 PHP per day. From the port, you will need to hire a boat to take you to Danjugan Island. The boat ride typically costs around 1,500 to 2,500 PHP, depending on the number of passengers and the negotiation with the boatmen. The trip takes about 30-45 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Cebu City to Moalboal. Buses leave from the South Bus Terminal and the fare is approximately 100-150 PHP. The bus ride takes around 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Moalboal, you can either walk or take a tricycle to Moalboal Port, which should cost around 50 PHP. At the port, you can hire a boat to Danjugan Island for approximately 1,500 to 2,500 PHP, as mentioned earlier. The boat ride will take about 30-45 minutes.
Combination of Car and Boat
For those coming from Bacolod City, you can drive or take a bus to San Carlos City. From there, take a ferry from San Carlos to Toledo City, which costs around 200 PHP. After arriving at Toledo City, drive or take a bus to Moalboal. Once in Moalboal, head to Moalboal Port, park your car, and hire a boat for 1,500 to 2,500 PHP to Danjugan Island. The boat ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes.
