Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Cebu City, take the Cebu-Mactan Bridge to get to Mactan Island. From there, continue straight on the main road until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit and follow the signs to Lapu-Lapu City. After about 10 minutes, look for a sign indicating the San Vicente Marine Sanctuary. Turn onto the road leading to the sanctuary. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Cebu City, you can take a bus to Mactan Island. Head to the South Bus Terminal and board a bus that goes to Mactan. Once you arrive at Mactan, you can take a jeepney heading to Lapu-Lapu City. Ask the driver to drop you off near the San Vicente Marine Sanctuary. It should take around 1-1.5 hours in total, depending on traffic. Keep a small amount of change handy for the jeepney fare, which usually costs around PHP 20.

• Public Transportation (Taxi/Grab)

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or Grab from Cebu City to San Vicente Marine Sanctuary. Simply input the destination into the app or tell the driver 'San Vicente Marine Sanctuary in Lapu-Lapu City'. The drive will take approximately 30-45 minutes and cost around PHP 300-500, depending on traffic.

• Motorbike Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike in Cebu City. This allows you to explore the area at your own pace. Once you reach Mactan Island, follow the signs to Lapu-Lapu City and the sanctuary. Ensure you have a valid driver's license and wear a helmet. Rental costs are typically around PHP 400-600 per day. Parking is available at the sanctuary.
