Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from Iloilo City. Take the Iloilo-Antique Road (also known as the Panay National Highway) heading towards San Jose de Buenavista. Continue for about 75 km until you reach the town of Tibiao. Once in Tibiao, follow the signs to Bugtong Bato Falls. You will need to take a left turn at the junction near Tibiao River, and then continue straight until you reach the parking area for the falls. Please note that there may be a small parking fee of around PHP 20.

  • Public Transportation

    From Iloilo City, head to the Ceres Bus Terminal and take a bus bound for San Jose de Buenavista. The fare is approximately PHP 100. Once you arrive in San Jose de Buenavista, transfer to a jeepney heading to Tibiao, which will cost around PHP 20. After reaching Tibiao, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Bugtong Bato Falls for about PHP 150. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride. The tricycle will take you directly to the entrance of the falls.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, from the parking area or the drop-off point of the tricycle, you will need to trek for about 20-30 minutes on a well-marked path through lush vegetation to reach Bugtong Bato Falls. The path can be steep and rocky, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear.
