Car
If you are driving from Iloilo City, take the Iloilo-Antique Road (also known as the Panay National Highway). Continue on this road until you reach the municipality of Tibiao. Once in Tibiao, look for the signs directing you to Bugtong Bato Falls. The exact location is at 838R+475, Tibiao, Antique. The drive takes approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Parking is available near the entrance to the falls, where you may need to pay a small fee, typically around PHP 20.
Public Transportation
To reach Bugtong Bato Falls via public transportation, take a bus from Iloilo City to San Jose, Antique. Buses depart regularly from the Molo Terminal. Once you arrive in San Jose, transfer to a jeepney heading to Tibiao. Inform the driver to drop you off at the junction for Bugtong Bato Falls. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or hire a tricycle to take you directly to the entrance. Expect to pay around PHP 50 to PHP 100 for the tricycle ride. The total travel time will be about 3 to 4 hours, depending on waiting times and traffic.
Tricycle
If you are already in Tibiao and need to get to Bugtong Bato Falls, you can hire a tricycle. Tricycles are readily available in the town. It is advisable to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride to the falls should cost between PHP 100 to PHP 150. The trip takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
