If you are traveling by car, head towards Iloilo City, which is the nearest major city to Guimaras Island. From Iloilo City, drive to the port of Jordan, Guimaras. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the port, you will need to park your car at the designated parking area, which may incur a fee of around PHP 50-100 per day. After parking, purchase a ticket for a ferry to Guimaras Island, which costs approximately PHP 14-30 per person. Ferries run frequently throughout the day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a jeepney or a bus from your location in Western Visayas to Iloilo City. From the main bus terminal or the designated jeepney stops in Iloilo City, you will need to make your way to the port of Jordan. Jeepneys to Jordan are available at the terminal and will cost around PHP 20-30. Once you reach the port, buy a ferry ticket to Guimaras Island for PHP 14-30. Ferries operate regularly, and the crossing takes about 15-20 minutes.
