Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Plaza Pershing, head southeast on P. Burgos Street towards Canelar Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Valderoza Street. Turn left onto Valderoza Street, and you will find Rizal Park on your right side after a short walk.

    From the Zamboanga City Hall, exit the building and turn left onto B. Saavedra Avenue. Walk straight until you reach P. Burgos Street. Turn right onto P. Burgos Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Valderoza Street. Turn left on Valderoza Street and Rizal Park will be a short distance ahead on your right.

  • Public Transport (Tricycle)

    If you are at the local market (Canelar), take a tricycle and tell the driver to take you to Rizal Park. The ride should be quick, approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the park.

    From the Zamboanga International Airport, you can take a tricycle to the city center. Once you reach the city center, follow the earlier walking directions from Plaza Pershing to Rizal Park, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.

    If you are near the bus terminal, take a southbound bus towards Zamboanga City. Inform the conductor that you want to get off near Rizal Park. The bus will drop you off close to the park entrance. From there, it’s just a short walk to the park.
