If you're traveling by private car, start your journey from Zamboanga City. Take the National Highway (also known as the Zamboanga-Pagadian Road) heading towards the direction of Pagadian. Continue driving for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the junction in the town of Ipil. From there, follow the signs towards the direction of Sibulao, which is approximately 20 kilometers from Ipil. Once you arrive at Sibulao Brgy Rd, there will be signposts guiding you to Merloquet Falls. Make sure to park your vehicle at the designated area and prepare for a short hike to the falls.

For those using public transportation, head to the bus terminal in Zamboanga City. Look for buses heading toward Ipil or Pagadian, which are frequent. The fare is approximately PHP 150-200. After about an hour, you will reach Ipil. From Ipil, take a local jeepney or tricycle that goes to Sibulao; this should cost around PHP 50. Inform the driver that you are going to Merloquet Falls, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, you will need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the falls, so be prepared with comfortable shoes.
