The highway is well-maintained and will take you through beautiful landscapes. Continue driving for about 2 hours (approximately 90 kilometers) until you reach Payao. Once in Payao, look for signs leading to the barangay (village) where you can find boat services to Pandilusan Island.

To use public transportation, head to the bus terminal in Zamboanga City. Look for buses heading towards Payao. The bus ride will take about 2 to 3 hours. Inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Payao, and they will drop you off at the terminal in Payao. From there, you will need to hire a tricycle or walk to the nearest dock where boats are available to take you to Pandilusan Island. The boat ride typically costs around PHP 100-150 per person.
