Public Transport - Bus
From Bielsko-Biala, walk to the nearest bus stop, which could be 'Bielsko-Biała Dworzec Autobusowy'. Look for bus number 29, which travels directly to Katowice. The journey takes about 1 hour. Disembark at the 'Katowice Rynek' stop. From there, walk towards Rynek 10, which is just a short 5-minute walk. You will see the Silesian Theatre on your right.
Public Transport - Train
Head to Bielsko-Biala Railway Station (Bielsko-Biała Główna). Purchase a ticket for the train to Katowice. The trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Katowice Railway Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the tram stop. Take tram line 7 or 13 towards 'Zawodzie' or 'Osiedle Tysiąclecia'. Get off at 'Katowice Rynek' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Rynek 10, where the Silesian Theatre is located.
Walking
If you are already in the central area of Bielsko-Biala, you can walk to the bus or train stations. From the city center, head towards the main street leading to Bielsko-Biała Główna Railway Station or Bielsko-Biała Dworzec Autobusowy. It's about a 15-20 minute walk, depending on your starting point. Once at the station, follow the train or bus instructions above.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a quicker option, you can use a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Rynek 10, Katowice'. The drive will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic. This is a more direct option if you have luggage or prefer not to navigate public transport.
