If you're starting from the Gdańsk Main Train Station (Dworzec Główny), exit the station and head east on 3 Maja Street. After about 700 meters, you will reach the intersection with Podwale Grodzkie. Turn left onto Podwale Grodzkie and continue straight until you reach the Green Gate (Zielona Brama). From there, walk along Długie Pobrzeże, following the Motława River until you reach the picturesque Long Market (Długi Targ). The Johannes Hevelius monument is located in the nearby park area in the center of Śródmieście. It should take approximately 15-20 minutes to walk.
Public Transport - Tram
From the Gdańsk Main Train Station (Dworzec Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located just outside the station. Take tram number 8 or 9 towards the 'Nowa Wieś' stop. After about 3 stops, disembark at 'Targ Rybny'. From there, walk towards the Motława River and follow the riverbank. The Johannes Hevelius monument will be located in the park area, which is a short walk from the tram stop. The entire journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

If you prefer to take a bus, walk to the nearest bus stop near the Gdańsk Main Train Station and catch bus number 100 or 106. Ride for 4 stops and get off at 'Długa'.
