Public Transport
From Gliwice city center, walk to the Gliwice Main Train Station (Dworzec Główny w Gliwicach). It will take about 10-15 minutes on foot. Once at the station, take a train towards Katowice. Trains run frequently, so you shouldn’t have to wait long. The journey to Katowice will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After arriving at Katowice station, exit the train and follow the signs to the tram station located adjacent to the train station. Take tram line 13 or 15 towards the 'Złote Łany' or 'Osiedle Tysiąclecia' stops. Get off at 'Spodek' tram stop. From there, Arena Spodek is a short walk away; simply head towards the large, distinctive building you can see from the tram stop.
Walking
If you are already close to the city center in Gliwice, you can walk to the Arena Spodek in Katowice, though it will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Start from the main square in Gliwice (Rynek) and head south toward ul. Zwycięstwa. Continue straight until you reach the border of Katowice. As you enter Katowice, follow ul. Zwycięstwa which will eventually turn into al. Wojciecha Korfantego. After about 3 km, you will see the Arena Spodek on your left. The iconic saucer-shaped structure is hard to miss, and you can use the pedestrian paths to reach it directly.
Bus
From Gliwice, you can take a bus to Katowice. Head to the Gliwice Bus Station (Dworzec Autobusowy) located next to the train station. Look for buses heading to Katowice; the journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Katowice Bus Station, walk towards the tram stop and take tram line 13 or 15 towards 'Złote Łany' or 'Osiedle Tysiąclecia'. Get off at the 'Spodek' stop, and from there, it’s just a short walk to the Arena Spodek.
