Train
From Gliwice, head to Gliwice train station (Dworzec Główny). You can walk there from the city center in about 10 minutes, or take a local tram to the station. Purchase a ticket to Katowice from the ticket counter or ticket machine. Board a train heading to Katowice. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Katowice train station, exit the station.

After exiting the Katowice train station, head northwest towards ul. Słowackiego. Turn left onto ul. Słowackiego, walking straight until you reach the intersection with ul. 3 Maja. Here, turn right onto ul. 3 Maja. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters. You will see a large square ahead; this is the Market Square (Rynek) in Katowice.

Alternatively, from Gliwice, you can take tram line 1 directly from the Gliwice tram station to Katowice.
