Jastarnia Lighthouse: A Beacon of Maritime Heritage

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Jastarnia via the main road (DW501). From the northern part of the Hel Peninsula, follow the signs to Jastarnia. Once you arrive in the town, look for the Kościuszki Street, where the lighthouse is located. There is limited parking available near the lighthouse, so be prepared to park a short distance away and walk to the site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Jastarnia Lighthouse using public transportation, you can take a bus or train from nearby towns on the Hel Peninsula. If you are in Hel, there is a direct bus service to Jastarnia. Check the local schedule as services may vary. Once you arrive in Jastarnia, walk towards Kościuszki Street where the lighthouse is located. The walk from the bus station is approximately 10-15 minutes.

• Bicycle

  For a more scenic route, consider cycling to Jastarnia. There are bike paths throughout the Hel Peninsula. Rent a bicycle and follow the designated bike lanes towards Jastarnia. The ride from Hel is about 12 km and will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive, you can lock your bike at designated bike racks near the lighthouse.

• Walking

  If you're already in Jastarnia, you can easily walk to the lighthouse from most accommodations in the area. Look for signs directing you towards Kościuszki Street. The lighthouse is a prominent landmark and should be visible as you approach. The walk from the main square of Jastarnia to the lighthouse should take no more than 10 minutes.
