Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Jelenia Góra. Head north on S3 towards Zgorzelec. After approximately 5 km, take the exit towards Karpacz. Continue on this road for about 13 km until you reach the entrance to the Karkonosze National Park. Park your car at the designated parking area near the entrance. From there, follow the black hiking trail (Czarny Szlak) to Wiata, which is approximately a 3 km hike through beautiful landscapes.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Jelenia Góra to Karpacz. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Karpacz, you can find the entrance to Karkonosze National Park where the black hiking trail begins. Follow the signs for Czarny Szlak, and it will lead you directly to Wiata, which is roughly a 3 km hike. Make sure to check the bus schedule to plan your return trip.

If you're already in the Karkonosze Mountains and prefer to hike, locate the nearest access point to the black hiking trail (Czarny Szlak).
