Car
If you are driving, head towards Kartuzy, the nearest town to the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area. From Kartuzy, take the road marked as DK20 towards Kartuzy and follow the signs for the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area. The area is located just south of the town center at approximately 54.3348° N, 18.0648° E. Parking is available at designated areas within the park, and it is usually free of charge.
Public Transportation
To reach the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area via public transport, take a local bus from Gdańsk to Kartuzy. The bus station in Gdańsk can be found at the main bus terminal, and you can check schedules at the local bus website. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 15 PLN. Once in Kartuzy, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to the park entrance, which is located just outside of the town center.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, renting a bike in Kartuzy is an excellent option. There are numerous bike rental shops around the town. From the town center, take the bike path leading south towards the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area. The ride is approximately 5 km and should take about 15-20 minutes. Ensure you have a map or GPS as the paths can be winding.
Walking
If you are already in Kartuzy and prefer to walk, you can make your way to the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area by heading south from the town center. The walk is approximately 4 km and should take about 50-60 minutes. Follow the road signs towards the landscape area, and be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can vary.
