Tram
If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Teatr Bagatela'. From there, take tram number 4 or 10 towards 'Borek Fałęcki'. Stay on the tram for about 20 minutes until you reach the 'Kraków Zoo' stop. Once you get off, the zoo will be a short walk ahead.
Bus
From the Main Market Square, walk to the bus stop named 'Muzeum Narodowe'. Take bus number 134 towards 'Dąbrowa'. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the 'Kraków Zoo' stop. The entrance to the zoo will be a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from the Wawel Castle. Head north on Wawel Hill towards the Vistula Boulevards. Follow the riverbank path for about 30 minutes, enjoying the view of the Vistula River. Once you reach the 'Most Zwierzyniecki' bridge, cross over and continue straight until you reach 'aleja Kasy Oszczędności Miasta Krakowa'. The zoo entrance will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you want to cycle to the zoo, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in the city. Start at the Main Market Square and head towards the Vistula Boulevards. Follow the river path and then take the bike lane towards the 'Most Zwierzyniecki' bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the path along 'aleja Kasy Oszczędności Miasta Krakowa'. The zoo will be on your left after about 20 minutes of cycling.
