Walking
If you are in the main square of Kraków, known as Rynek Główny, head southwest towards the Wawel Hill. Walk straight along Grodzka Street until you reach the foot of the hill. From there, take a left and walk along the path that leads up to Wawel Castle. The Smok Wawelski statue is located just outside Wawel Castle, facing the Vistula River.
Tram
If you are near the tram stop 'Teatr Bagatela', catch tram line 2 or 6 heading towards 'Wawel'. Get off at the 'Wawel' stop. From the tram stop, walk towards the castle entrance and then follow the path to the right that leads you to the Smok Wawelski statue located near the castle entrance.
Public Bus
If you are near the bus station at 'Dworzec Główny', take bus number 100 or 130. Get off at the 'Wawel' stop. From there, walk towards the Wawel Castle entrance and then proceed to the right where you will find the Smok Wawelski statue just outside the castle.
