Train
From Krakow's main train station (Kraków Główny), take a train towards Wieliczka. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Wieliczka train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Krakowska Street). Turn right and follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Daniłowicza Street. Turn left onto Daniłowicza Street, and you will see the entrance to the Wieliczka Salt Mine on your right.
Bus
From the Main Market Square in Krakow, walk to the nearby bus stop called 'Teatr Bagatela'. Take bus number 304 or 244 towards Wieliczka. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Wieliczka Kopalnia Soli' bus stop. After exiting the bus, walk down Daniłowicza Street for a few minutes, and you will find the entrance to the Wieliczka Salt Mine on your left.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Bolt. Simply enter 'Wieliczka Salt Mine' or 'Daniłowicza 10, Wieliczka' as your destination. The drive from the city center to the mine takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare estimate before starting your trip.
