Car
If you are driving, Dobczyce Castle is located in the town of Dobczyce, approximately 25 km southeast of Kraków. From Kraków, take the DK7 road towards Myślenice. Follow the DK7 for about 20 km, then take the exit toward Dobczyce. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach Stare Miasto, where the castle is situated. There is parking available near the castle area, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Dobczyce Castle using public transport from Kraków, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal (Dworzec Autobusowy). Look for buses heading to Myślenice or Dobczyce. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Dobczyce bus station, it's a short walk (about 1 km) to the castle. You can ask locals for directions, or use a map app on your smartphone to guide you to Stare Miasto.
Walking
If you find yourself in the town of Dobczyce, you can easily walk to Dobczyce Castle from the bus station. Start by heading southwest on Stare Miasto street. The castle is located at Stare Miasto, 32-410 Dobczyce, and is well signposted. The walk should take you about 15-20 minutes, and as you approach, you will see the impressive castle structure.
