Car
If you are driving, start by navigating to Kraków, the capital of Lesser Poland. From the city center, head towards the Vistula River. Use GPS coordinates 50.046492, 19.947568 to guide you directly to Father Bernatek’s Bridge (Kładka Ojca Bernatka). There is limited parking in the area, so look for nearby parking lots such as the one at Wawel Castle. After parking, the bridge is a short walk away.
Public Transportation
To reach Father Bernatek’s Bridge using public transportation, take a bus or tram to the 'Wawel' stop. You can use Kraków's public transport app or website to check the latest routes. From the Wawel stop, walk towards the river and follow the signs to the bridge. The walk is approximately 10 minutes along the scenic riverside path.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of the Old Town area of Kraków, you can easily walk to Father Bernatek's Bridge. Head towards the Vistula River from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny). The bridge is located about 1 km from the square, which is roughly a 15-minute walk. Follow the riverbank path, enjoying the views of the river and the Wawel Castle along the way.
