Experience The Old Town Market Square

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Lublin Castle, exit the castle grounds and head down Królewska Street towards the main road. Turn right onto the main road (ulica Grodzka) and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes on your way. As you approach the Old Town, you'll see a large square in front of you. This is the Old Town Market Square (Rynek). You can also see the beautiful historic buildings surrounding the square.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Catholic University of Lublin, walk down Al. Racławickie towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with ul. Narutowicza. Turn right, and then take the first left onto ul. Grodzka. Follow this road for about 15 minutes. The Old Town Market Square will appear on your left, marked by its distinctive colorful buildings.

  • Walking

    From the main train station (Lublin Główny), exit the station and head towards ul. 1 Maja. Walk straight and cross the bridge over the river. Continue along ul. 1 Maja until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto ul. Lubartowska. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the Old Town Market Square on your right.

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from other parts of Lublin, take a bus heading to the city center. Look for lines 1, 7, or 15 that have stops near the Old Town. Get off at the 'Krakowskie Przedmieście' stop. From there, walk straight down Krakowskie Przedmieście street, which will lead you directly to the Old Town. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes.
