Car
From the center of Orava, head north on Route 59 towards Zborov. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the village of Zborov. Once in Zborov, follow the signs to Zborov Castle, which is located on a hill overlooking the village. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the castle entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €2.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from the main bus station in Orava to Zborov. Buses to Zborov run frequently, approximately every hour. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Zborov, you can either walk to the castle (15-20 minutes uphill) or take a local taxi if you prefer a quicker and more comfortable ride. Taxi fares should be around €5-€10 for the short distance to the castle.
Walking
If you are already in Zborov and wish to walk to the castle, head northeast from the village center towards the hill where the castle is located. Follow the path that leads uphill; it should take you about 20 minutes to reach the castle. Wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be steep and uneven.
