Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Kartuzy, located in the heart of Kashubia. From Gdańsk, take the S7 expressway towards Gdynia. Merge onto the S6 highway at the Gdynia interchange and follow signs for Kartuzy. Once in Kartuzy, follow local signs for the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area. Parking is available at various points within the landscape area, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Kashubia Protected Landscape Area using public transport, start by taking a train from Gdańsk Glówny station to Kartuzy. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kartuzy station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or catch a local bus to get to the protected area. Bus tickets can be purchased at the station or on the bus, and prices typically range from 4 to 10 PLN depending on the route.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, cycling to Kashubia is a great option. Start in Gdańsk and follow the designated bike paths towards Kartuzy. The journey is about 30 kilometers and will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Once in Kartuzy, there are bike paths leading into the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area. • Walking

  If you're already in Kartuzy, walking to the Kashubia Protected Landscape Area is a pleasant option.
