The Majestic Green Gate: A Gateway to Gdańsk's History

Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Długi Targ in Gdańsk. From the center of Pomerania, take the S7 expressway towards Gdańsk. Once you reach Gdańsk, follow the signs for the city center. Upon entering the city, continue onto ul. Wały Jagiellońskie, then turn onto ul. Długie Pobrzeże. Finally, turn left onto Długi Targ. Green Gate is located at Długi Targ 24, 80-828 Gdańsk. Parking is limited in the old town area, so look for parking lots nearby, such as the parking structure at ul. Ogarna or ul. Długie Pobrzeże, which may incur a fee of around 5-10 PLN per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Gdańsk Główny station, the main train station. From various locations in Pomerania, trains are frequent and reasonably priced, with tickets typically costing between 15-30 PLN depending on the distance. Once you arrive at Gdańsk Główny, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located just outside. Take tram number 2 or 3 towards the old town. Get off at the 'Długi Targ' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Green Gate, located at Długi Targ 24.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to travel by bus, check the local bus schedules for routes heading to Gdańsk. Various bus lines connect Pomerania to Gdańsk, with tickets generally costing between 10-20 PLN. Once you arrive at the Gdańsk bus station, you can either walk to Długi Targ or take tram number 2 or 3 as described above. The walk to Green Gate from the bus station is around 15-20 minutes.

• Walking

  If you're already in the vicinity of Gdańsk's old town, Green Gate is easily accessible by foot. From the main square (Długi Targ), simply walk along the boulevard until you reach Długi Targ 24. Enjoy the beautiful architecture along the way and explore other nearby attractions, such as Neptune's Fountain and the Artus Court.
