If you're in the Łazarz neighborhood, begin by heading towards ul. Dąbrowskiego. Walk north until you reach the intersection with ul. Polan. Continue straight on ul. Dąbrowskiego for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the University Botanical Garden (Ogród Botaniczny Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza) at Jana Henryka Dąbrowskiego 165 on your left side. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

From Łazarz, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is likely 'Dąbrowskiego' or 'Polan'. Take tram number 2 or number 9 heading towards 'Złotowska'. After about 3 stops, get off at 'Rondo Jeżyckie'. From there, walk about 10 minutes north along ul. Dąbrowskiego, and you will arrive at the University Botanical Garden at Jana Henryka Dąbrowskiego 165. The tram ticket costs around 4 PLN (approx. 1 USD).
