Walking
From the center of Sopot, head towards the Sopot Pier. Follow the main road (Aleja Franciszka Mamuszki) south until you reach the beach. Once at the beach, turn left and continue walking along the waterfront promenade (Promenada) towards Gdańsk. After approximately 12 kilometers, you will come to the Długa street in Gdańsk, where Długi Targ is located. The walk will take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on your pace.
Public Transport (Train)
From Sopot, walk to the Sopot train station (Dworzec PKP Sopot). Purchase a ticket to Gdańsk Główny. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Gdańsk Główny, exit the station and head towards the main street (ulica 3 Maja). Walk straight and turn left at the intersection onto Długa street. Długi Targ will be a short walk ahead, approximately 10 minutes from the train station.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Sopot, find the nearest bus stop (e.g. Sopot, Centrum). Take bus number 122 or 174 towards Gdańsk. Get off at the stop 'Gdańsk, Chmielna'. From there, walk straight towards Długa street. You'll find Długi Targ after a 5-minute walk. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes.
