Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Sopot, head to the Sopot train station (Sopot Główny). You can walk there in about 15 minutes if you're near the main promenade or take a tram (line 21 or 22) to the station. Once at the station, take a train towards Gdańsk. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at Gdańsk Główny station. From there, exit the station and walk straight towards the center. Continue on Podwale Przedmiejskie road and cross the bridge over the Motława River. After crossing, take a left onto Długi Targ street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Green Gate, located at Długi Targ 24.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from Sopot to Gdańsk, start at the Sopot Pier and head north towards ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino (the main pedestrian street). Walk along this street until you reach the end, where it merges with ul. Grunwaldzka. Continue on Grunwaldzka and follow the signs to Gdańsk, which is about 12 kilometers away. The walk will take you through beautiful seaside scenery and parks. Once you reach Gdańsk, navigate toward the Old Town, and specifically head to Długi Targ where you will find the Green Gate. This option is feasible but may take around 2.5 to 3 hours.

• Bicycle

  For a more active approach, you can rent a bicycle in Sopot. Head towards the bike rental stations near the beach or the main promenade. Once you have a bike, ride along the coastal bike path towards Gdańsk. This scenic route will take you through beautiful parks and along the coastline. After approximately 12 kilometers, you will arrive in Gdańsk. Once you reach the city, follow the signs to the Old Town area and look for Długi Targ street. The Green Gate is located at Długi Targ 24.
