Train
From Sopot, walk to the Sopot Railway Station (Dworzec PKP Sopot). It's about a 10-minute walk from the main promenade. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Gdańsk. Trains run frequently and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes. After arriving at Gdańsk Główny Station, exit the station and you will be in the heart of Gdańsk.
Bus
You can catch a bus from Sopot to Gdańsk. Head to the nearest bus stop on ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino, which is about a 5-minute walk from the main promenade. Look for buses numbered 118 or 130. The bus ride to Gdańsk takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Gdańsk, you'll be able to navigate to the city center easily.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations in Sopot. Head towards the coastal bike path that connects Sopot and Gdańsk. The ride is scenic and takes about 40 minutes. Follow the path along the sea and through the beautiful parks until you reach Gdańsk, where you can park your bike at designated bike parking areas.
Walking
For an adventurous option, you can walk from Sopot to Gdańsk. Head north along the beach promenade towards Brzeźno, and then follow the paths into the city. The distance is about 12 kilometers and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Enjoy the seaside views and local parks along the way.
