Car

For those using public transportation, start at the nearest bus station in Spisz. You will need to take a bus to Žehra, which is the closest town to Spiš Castle. After arriving at the Žehra bus station, follow the signs to Spiš Castle, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. Make sure to check the bus return schedule to avoid getting stranded.

Walking

If you are already in Žehra and prefer walking, head towards the castle by following the marked trail. Start at the main square and walk towards the northeast direction. The path is well-marked and takes approximately 20 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the route includes some steep sections.
