Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Zakopane. Head east on ul. Krupówki, then turn left onto ul. Nowotarska. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with ul. Piłsudskiego and turn right. Continue straight until you arrive at the entrance of the Tatra National Park. There is a parking area available at the entrance for a fee (around 10 PLN for the day). From the parking area, follow the marked trail towards Dolina Strążyska, which is approximately a 30-minute hike.

Public Transportation

To reach Dolina Strążyska using public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus station in Zakopane. Look for buses heading towards 'Kuźnice.' The journey takes about 15-20 minutes, costing around 4 PLN. Once you arrive at Kuźnice, disembark and follow the signs directing you to Dolina Strążyska. The trail begins just a short walk from the bus stop and is well-marked. This hike will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the valley.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Zakopane to the entrance of Dolina Strążyska. Taxis are readily available and the ride will take about 10-15 minutes, costing around 30-40 PLN depending on your starting location. Ensure that the driver knows to take you to the Tatra National Park entrance where the hiking trail begins.
