Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Zakopane, which is a popular base for exploring the Tatra Mountains. Head northeast on DK47 road towards Nowy Targ. After approximately 15 km, take the exit onto DK49 towards Szczawnica. Follow this road for about 30 km until you reach the town of Szczawnica. From Szczawnica, follow the signs to Pieniny National Park, which is just a 10-minute drive away. Parking is available near the park entrance, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Zakopane, you can take a bus to Nowy Targ. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station in Zakopane. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Nowy Targ, transfer to a bus heading towards Szczawnica. This part of the journey will take around 45 minutes. Upon arriving in Szczawnica, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach the entrance of Pieniny National Park, which is approximately a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk.
