Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Toruń Old Town, start at the iconic Toruń Cathedral (Katedra Św. Jana), located at ul. Żeglarska 16. Head east along ul. Żeglarska for about 250 meters until you reach the Vistula Boulevards. Turn left and walk along the riverbank. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you see the bridge (Most Józefa Piłsudskiego). Cross the bridge and follow the path leading to the Old Town area. Once you reach the other side of the river, look for ul. Przedzamcze, which will be to your right. Walk along ul. Przedzamcze for about 150 meters, and you will find Brama Ciemna (Dark Gate) at Przedzamcze 3.

    From the main bus station (Dworzec Autobusowy Toruń), take bus number 5 towards 'Czerniewice'. Get off at the 'Starówka' stop, which is in the Old Town. Walk towards the Vistula River and head east on ul. Żeglarska. Follow the riverbank for about 500 meters until you reach the bridge (Most Józefa Piłsudskiego). Cross the bridge and then take a right onto ul. Przedzamcze. Walk about 150 meters, and you will arrive at Brama Ciemna located at Przedzamcze 3.
