If you are near a metro station, take the M1 line (the red line) in the direction of Młociny. Get off at the 'Rondo ONZ' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the intersection of ul. Chmielna and ul. Prosta. At the intersection, head east on ul. Chmielna, which will lead you to the beautiful Palace of Culture and Science. Continue walking straight until you reach ul. Marszałkowska, then turn left and walk until you reach the 'Nowy Świat' street.

Locate the nearest tram stop and take tram number 10 or 26 towards 'Powsin' or 'Marymont' respectively. Get off at the 'Muzeum Narodowe' stop. From there, walk down ul. Piękna until you reach ul. Nowy Świat. Turn left on ul. Nowy Świat and continue walking until you reach the 'Krakowskie Przedmieście' street. Follow this street and it will lead you directly to plac Zamkowy.

Find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 175 or 180 towards 'Dworca Centralnego' or 'Wileńska'. Disembark at the 'Krakowskie Przedmieście' stop. After getting off, walk north towards the Old Town. Follow the street straight ahead, and you will find yourself at plac Zamkowy, which is a large square with historical significance.
