Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Warsaw Central Station (Dworzec Centralny), take Metro Line M1 (the red line) towards Młociny. Get off at the second stop, which is 'Świętokrzyska'. From Świętokrzyska, change to Metro Line M2 (the blue line) and head towards 'Czerniaków'. Get off at the 'Nowy Świat-Uniwersytet' stop. Once you exit the station, walk straight along Nowy Świat Street until you reach the crossing with Krakowskie Przedmieście. Turn right onto Krakowskie Przedmieście, and continue walking until you reach the Old Town area.

  • Tram

    From the Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki), walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Traugutta'. Take tram number 4 or 15 towards 'ZOO'. Ride for 4 stops and get off at 'Rondo de Gaulle'a'. From there, walk along Nowy Świat Street in the direction of the Old Town. You will reach the Old Town square after about a 10-minute walk.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Vistula Boulevards, you can walk directly to the Old Town. Start at the Boulevards and head towards the northern direction, crossing the Poniatowski Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, follow the signs leading to the Old Town. It will take approximately 25 minutes to walk from the Boulevards to the Old Town Square.

  • Bus

    If you are near the Warsaw University, you can take bus number 175 from the 'Uniwersytet' bus stop towards 'Wawel'. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at 'Stare Miasto'. From there, it is just a short walk to the Old Town area, following the signs that lead you to the historic square.
