Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of Śródmieście, the easiest way to reach the Museum of Warsaw is by walking. Head towards the Old Town area. Depending on your starting point, you can follow these steps: From the main street (Nowy Świat), walk towards the Vistula River, then take a right towards the Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy). Continue straight until you reach the Barbican. From there, head towards the Old Town Market Square (Rynek Starego Miasta). The museum is located at Rynek Starego Miasta 28/42, which is at the northeast corner of the square. The total walking time is approximately 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transport - Tram

  If you prefer public transport, you can take a tram from various points in Śródmieście. Look for tram line 26 and board it at the nearest stop (e.g., 'Krucza' or 'Nowy Świat - Uniwersytet'). Stay on the tram for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the 'Zamek Królewski' stop. From there, walk towards the Old Town Market Square. The museum is located at Rynek Starego Miasta 28/42. Make sure to purchase a ticket before boarding at a kiosk or ticket machine, as a single ticket costs around 4.40 PLN.

• Public Transport - Bus

  You can also take a bus for a quick trip to the museum. Look for bus line 116 or 175. Board at the nearest bus stop (e.g., 'Muzeum Narodowe' or 'Hoża'), and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at 'Stare Miasto' stop. From there, it is just a short walk to Rynek Starego Miasta where the museum is located at 28/42. Ticket prices for buses are the same as for trams, so ensure you purchase a ticket beforehand.
