If you are already in Ostrów Tumski, simply head towards the iconic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist located at Plac Katedralny 18. From anywhere in Ostrów Tumski, you can follow the charming cobblestone paths that lead directly to the cathedral. Look for the tall twin towers of the cathedral as your navigational guide. The cathedral is situated on a small island surrounded by the Odra River, making it an easy landmark to spot. The walk should take no more than 10-15 minutes from any point in Ostrów Tumski.

While walking is the most straightforward option, if you find yourself further away in Wrocław, you can take tram line 1 or 2 to the nearest stop, which is 'Most Pomorski'. From there, you will need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the cathedral. Exit the tram and head towards the bridge (Most Pomorski) which leads you into Ostrów Tumski. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards the cathedral. The tram ticket costs around 3.40 PLN (approximately €0.70) for a single journey.
