To reach Orava Castle from Zakopane, start at the main bus station in Zakopane, located at ul. Kościuszki 12. Look for the bus to 'Chyżne' or 'Nowy Targ'. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nowy Targ bus station, transfer to a bus heading to 'Oravský Podzámok'. The bus ride will take an additional 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Oravský Podzámok'. From the bus stop, walk towards the main road, and you will see Orava Castle on the hill ahead. It will be a 10-minute walk uphill to reach the castle entrance.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Zakopane to Orava Castle. You can find taxis near the main bus station or call one via a local taxi service. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Orava Castle, the driver can drop you off at the entrance.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to hike, you can walk from Zakopane to Orava Castle. Head north on ul. Kościuszki and follow the signs towards the mountains. The journey is quite long, approximately 20 kilometers, and will take several hours, so this option is best for experienced hikers.
