From the center of Zakopane, head to the main bus station (Dworzec Autobusowy) located at ul. Kościuszki 4. There, you can catch a bus heading towards 'Morskie Oko' or 'Palencia' which are popular entrances to Tatra National Park. Buses run frequently, typically every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at your selected stop, follow the signs to the park entrance.

For a more convenient option, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare service like Uber or Bolt. You can easily hail a taxi from any spot in Zakopane or book a ride via your app. Inform the driver that you want to go to Tatra National Park, specifying the entrance you wish to visit, such as 'Morskie Oko'. The trip usually takes around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

If you are feeling adventurous and are staying near the park, you can walk to Tatra National Park from Zakopane. Start from the main square (Plac Niepodległości) and head towards ul. Krupówki, following it until you reach the intersection with ul. Witkiewicza. Continue on ul. Witkiewicza until you reach the entrance to the park at the end of the road. This walk may take about 1.5-2 hours and will take you through some beautiful landscapes.
