Getting There

Train

From Sopot, head to the Sopot train station (Sopot Główny). You can walk there by exiting the main promenade and walking towards the main road, then follow the signs to the station. Once at the station, buy a ticket to Gdańsk Główny. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Gdańsk Główny, exit the station and walk towards the main exit. From there, walk straight along ul. 3 Maja until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto ul. Długi Targ. Continue walking until you see the Golden Gate on your left at Długa 1.
Bus

From Sopot, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino. Take bus number 122 or 174 towards Gdańsk. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Długi Targ' stop. From there, walk back towards the main street, and after a short walk, you will see the Golden Gate directly ahead at Długa 1.
Walking

If you prefer to walk, start at the main promenade in Sopot and head north towards the pier. Continue along the promenade and turn left onto ul. Grunwaldzka. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with ul. 3 Maja. Turn right and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto ul. Długi Targ. The Golden Gate will be on your left at Długa 1. This walk will take approximately 1 hour.
