Car
If you are driving from the city of Évora, take the A6 motorway towards Beja. After approximately 1 hour of driving, take exit 3 towards Beja. Continue on the N121 road until you reach Beja. Once in Beja, follow signs for the city center. The castle is located near Jardim da Rua de Dom Dinis. You can park your car in the nearby public parking areas.
Public Transportation
From Évora, you can take a bus to Beja. Head to the Évora bus station and purchase a ticket for Beja. The bus journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Beja bus station, exit and walk towards the city center. The castle is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Follow signs for Jardim da Rua de Dom Dinis, and you will find the castle nearby.
Car
If you are coming from Faro, take the A22 motorway heading northwest. Merge onto the A2 towards Lisbon and then take the exit for Beja. Follow the N121 road into Beja. Once in Beja, look for signs to the city center. The castle will be close to Jardim da Rua de Dom Dinis, where you can find parking options.
Public Transportation
Traveling from Lisbon, you can take a train to Beja from the Lisbon Rossio station. The train ride takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Beja station, exit and walk towards the city center, which is a 20-minute walk. You will find the castle near Jardim da Rua de Dom Dinis.
