Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Beja from your location in Alentejo. Use the A2 highway (Autoestrada do Sul) if coming from Lisbon, or the N2 road for a scenic route. Once in Beja, follow signs for the city center. The Évora doors are located at R. Dom Dinis 1, 7800-274 Beja. There is public parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply depending on the area and time.
Bus
For those using public transportation, check the bus schedules from your nearest town in Alentejo to Beja. Rede Expressos and other local bus companies operate services to Beja. Once you arrive at the Beja bus station, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the Évora doors. Head northeast on R. da Liberdade, take a right on R. D. Afonso III, and then a left onto R. Dom Dinis to reach your destination.
Train
If you prefer traveling by train, look for services to Beja from other major cities in Portugal. The Beja train station is approximately 2 km from the Évora doors. You can either walk (about 25 minutes) or take a taxi that should cost around 5-10 euros. From the station, head southeast on R. da Estação, then turn right onto Av. da Liberdade, and continue onto R. Dom Dinis.
