Getting There

• Car

  From any point in Arrábida Natural Park, head towards the A2 motorway. If you're near Setúbal, take the IC32 towards Almada. Once on the A2, continue until you see the exit for Caparica (exit 5). Merge onto N10 towards Costa de Caparica. Continue on N10 until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto R. Dom João V. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find the entrance to Paisagem Protegida da Arriba Fóssil da Costa de Caparica at R. Dom João V 17, Aroeira. There is usually free parking available, but it can get crowded during peak hours.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a train from Lisbon to Almada. Board the train at Cais do Sodré station and travel to Cacilhas station. From Cacilhas, take the TST bus number 135 towards Costa de Caparica. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop 'Dom João V.' From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the Paisagem Protegida da Arriba Fóssil da Costa de Caparica, located at R. Dom João V 17, Aroeira. Please note that a train ticket costs around €1.50, and the bus fare is about €1.80.
