Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the nearby area of Belém, you can easily walk to the Belem Lighthouse. Start at the Jerónimos Monastery, which is a famous landmark. From there, head west along the waterfront on Av. Brasília. The lighthouse is located approximately 1.2 kilometers down this road. It should take you about 15-20 minutes to walk there. You’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Tagus River as you approach the lighthouse.

    If you prefer to use public transport, you can take the tram line 15E from Belém. Board the tram at the 'Belém' stop and travel towards 'Praça da Figueira'.
