Walking
If you are near the Aveiro train station, exit the station and head straight onto Rua de Cais do Vouga. Continue along this road until you reach the first major intersection. Turn left onto Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho. Follow this avenue for about 10 minutes until you see a large square called Praça do Peixe. From the square, take the first right onto R. João Mendonça. The Aveiro City Museum will be on your left at number 9.

Locate the nearest bus stop to your current location in Aveiro. You can take the bus number 7 or number 8, which both stop near the city center. Get off at the stop called 'Praça do Peixe'. From there, walk towards R. João Mendonça by taking the first right after the square. The Aveiro City Museum will be at number 9 on your left.
Cycling
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the city center area and head toward Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho. Cycle straight down this avenue for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the Praça do Peixe, take a right onto R. João Mendonça. The museum is located at number 9 on your left side.
