Walking
If you're starting from the Aveiro train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Av. Dr. Lourenço Peixinho. Walk straight along this road for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rua Dr. Barbosa de Magalhães. Turn left onto Rua Dr. Barbosa de Magalhães and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The Museu de Arte Nova will be on your right at number 9-11, easily recognizable by its beautiful façade.

From the city center, you can take a local bus to get closer to the Museu de Arte Nova. Look for the bus line that goes to Praça da República. Once you arrive at Praça da República, exit the bus and head towards Rua Dr. Barbosa de Magalhães, which is just a short walk away. Walk along Rua Dr. Barbosa de Magalhães for about 5 minutes, and the museum will be on your left side at numbers 9-11.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Aveiro. From the city center, take Avenida 25 de Abril and cycle straight until you reach Rua Dr. Barbosa de Magalhães. Turn left onto Rua Dr. Barbosa de Magalhães and continue cycling for about 5 minutes.
