    From Aveiro city center, head to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Aveiro). Take the bus line 101 or 102 towards Ílhavo. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Ílhavo - Rua da Liberdade'. From there, walk straight along Rua da Liberdade until you reach the junction with Rua do Mercado. Turn left onto Rua do Mercado and follow it until you see the Museu Vista Alegre on your right.

    If you prefer to walk or bike, start from the Aveiro city center and head southwest towards the Ria de Aveiro. Follow the waterfront along Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho, enjoying the view. Continue on this path until you reach the bridge 'Ponte da Barra'. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Rua de São Pedro. Keep going straight until you reach the junction with Rua da Liberdade, where you will turn right. Follow Rua da Liberdade, then turn left onto Rua do Mercado. The Museu Vista Alegre will be on your right.
